In case anybody was wondering, Kelly and I did eventually make it home. Someday, we'd like to "finish off" this blog summazizing our last few days in Europe. It really was an amazing experience that has been replaced by days of hard labor at the house.
We are in the process of tearing up floors, replacing them with tile and carpet (gave up on the hardwoods idea), repainting, etc... Kelly's folks were out for a little over a week and even with their much appreciated help, along with volunteer hours from Matt, Nha and Lena, we still have a long way to go.
Hopefully a month from now, things will be a bit more sane. The good news is that Tilda seems happy to have us home.
