Well, Aaron and I had a rough week here in Rome. The week started with a small fountain in the bathroom from a busted hot water heater, and continued with a rough week of work. We were both ready for the week to be over!
After we left work on Friday, we decided to ride our bikes to see if we could get some nice photos from Pincio (see previous post where I talked about Pincio a little bit). There is a really nice look out over the city, and the sunset can be pretty nice from there. It was pretty cold, but we survived!
This is a view from up on Pincio and the walkway along the edge. If you look closely, you can see Aaron on his bike. He is pretty small in this picture though.
This is a similar view but without the walkway. The two white towers on the very left is Trinita dei Monti at the top of the Spanish steps. The center group of buildings is Quirinale, and the arch on the right is something that we have never figured out.
Aaron at the top. Nothing special about the background, but I think it is a nice picture of him :)
This is a pretty building...I had to look this one up because I had no idea what it is. It is called Casina Valadier, and it is an old farmhouse. Now it is a restaurant, and it looks really nice from the outside.

This is Kelly in a typical experience in Rome. This guy is trying to give me a rose. If you take the rose, then he'll try to get a bunch of money from you. Sometimes they really keep bothering you, which can be quite irritating. Can you tell I've had this happen about one million times?

This looking down on Piazza del Popolo from Pincio (see previous posts).

Another shot while the sun was setting. The Vatican is the big dome.

And another of the same :)

We have visitors for this week, so I'm not guarantee that there will be a lot of posting. Ciao ciao!

What fun to experience your daily lives. I am remembering all the fun we had visiting. The photos are great...of course I am a real amateur and anything looks good.

Great pictures Kelly. The best ones are the one of Aaron, and the first sunset picture. The picture of Aaron has great side lighting, good fill flash, and shallow depth of field. Awesome. The first picture of the sunset is great too because you've got great color and captured details in the shade.
Nice! Keep it up.

Where are my props for being a fantastic model and knowing how to position myself for these photos?
(I better be careful or some of the not so nice poses are gonna start popping up :)
Awesome pictures, Kelly! Great taste of the angles. Yes, Aaron, you are a FINE model.
