Buon giorno! (direct translation is good day)
I have been slacking a little this week because we are keeping busy with our visitors. We have been up late every night having fun, but I haven't had any time to go through our pictures that we took. On Monday we had Italian class after work, and then we met our guests for dinner. We walked home after (and got gelato - Italian ice cream), so that was a late night. Last night we met downtown, went shopping at the glass shops, and ate at Archetto (Spaghetteria...yum). We also took some night photos of the Fontana di Trevi, and I'm hoping at least some of them turned out. Tonight is class again. I should really study or something!
Right now we are in the midst of trying to make arrangements for our last few months in Rome. We will be moving back to the US in mid-May (for those who didn't know). At the end of our stay, we will take some time to do a final bit of travel in Europe before we fly back (maybe a week or two). We are trying to figure out what we want to do, but we haven't made any decisions yet. So does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? We don't think we want to revisit any places, so we are looking for new and creative vacation destinations in Europe. Anyone have any ideas? I have a few, but I'll see what everyone comes up with first!
All right...enough for now! Ciao ciao!

And if you ARE willing to fly a ways...
4. South Africa
5. Southeast Asia / Japan

7. Indonesia
8. Hawaii
9. Brazil
And if you're feeling adventurous...
10. Iraq/Iran/Isreal/N. Korea
Weellll, maybe #10 isn't a good idea. But hey, just trying to keep your options open.
Nha,
We're looking at taking doing something in Europe (most of 4-9 are on our list, but we're thinking Europe for this trip).
I would like to go to St. Petersburg and/or Moscow...definitely high up on the list. It depends on how it works out though.
I would love to go to Iceland, but we need to check the immigration rules. I think we have to leave from Italy when we repatriate, so it might not be an option.
