It was another sunny day, and the weather was nice. It was windy at the top, but the temperature was pretty warm. There were some icy spots, but it wasn't terrible. Overall, it was nice for a place only two hours from Rome.
I am posting some pictures again because Aaron and I love the mountain photos. They may be a little boring for everyone else...sorry!
Aaron (third from right) waiting in line for spiedini (meat kabob). This is on the top of the mountain. They grill the spiedini on the grill, and you order by the number of skewers you want. They also grill bread and throw it in with your spiedini. This is by far the best lunch on the mountain!
Me at the top after the spiedini. Do I look full? If you look closely at the valley and the mountains, you can see that the snow is only towards the top. Yes, they have to blow a lot of snow to cover the bottom portion of the trails.
Aaron about a quarter of the way down this trail. This led to a part of the mountain that we hadn't been to before. It was nice...the trails weren't busy, and the snow was nice. My only complaint was that we found it late in the day, and my legs were too tired!
A self potrait at the top. This really cracks me up...we look like such dorks! I had to get new goggles because the form was crumbling on my old ones, but the new ones look pretty dumb on my face. Oh well...they are really comfortable so I don't care!
On Sunday we had some guests arrive, and we walked around Rome. I'll post about that later this week. I need to look at the photos, but there might be Aaron's attempt of the pigeon shot...we'll see how he did :)
Thanks to Nha, Aunt Kathy, Jayne, and Pattie for your comments. Thanks to Aaron for his complaints :) It is good to hear that those who visited us here are enjoying the sites again, and those who haven't visited are enjoying our view of the sites.

I went skiing on Saturday too! It's funny to compare what I see in your pictures to our local "mountains." The picture of Aaron shows that you guys are above the tree line. I see bare rock and gravel compared to our grass. The outdoor grill adds a nice touch too. Must of smelled nice. Ummm, grilled food.
I hope you didn't do the death march with your visitors. At least they'll sleep well. And if Aaron wants a pigeon shot, he's going to need to buy a 400mm f2.8 prime for you. ;) What? Just sayin'...
It was definitely skiing weekend. I went to Mont Tremblant with a few of my friends (no, Nha wasn't there). It was a biggest mountain I've ever skied at. The blue square ones at our local "mountains" are greens circles there. And guess what? I got brave enough to go down a few black diamonds. YEA! I am so glad that I switched from snowboarding to skiing. I am having a blast.
