Cycling Photos

Three meaningful posts in 12 hours? Shocking! Now I have three items checked off my to do list from a few days ago. Wow I'm good :)

Aaron posted about cycling around Lago Bracciano on Sunday, and here are the pictures that he mentioned (yeah, he is lazy).

Here is Aaron in the piazza near our house while we were waiting for our friends to meet us. I thought it was pretty funny to take this picture. I don't think Aaron found me all that funny :)

One of the towns on the lake (not Bracciano and not Trevignano Romano).

Aaron (in the black) with our friends P&C.

After the ride, we changed and got some lunch. Yeah, this is me staying warm (or maybe dancing) while I was waiting for everyone. Yeah, doesn't look much like me, but usually I'm not that big of a dork.

Me with my convertible in the background (yeah right).

This is the waterfront at Trevignano Romano where we started biking from.

Aaron checking out the waterfront. It really is a pretty area!

The ride information from the GPS.

How far is this place from your apartment? And how long was the bike ride?

The weather is suppose to hit 40F on Monday. I've finally got my bike computer installed. Should be interesting...

I can see from your photos that the roads don't have much of a shoulder...ssshhheeessshhh. I don't think I trust myself or the drivers enough to ride a road like that. More power to ya...

Kelly is not a big dork? Hahaha...

Nice waterfront shot. You are quite a photographer now. Nha would love go for a bike ride around that lake.

Men in tights! Yes! They should be green though.

Actually, most (not all) Italian drivers are really good about giving lots of space to bikers. This road isn't terrible because it is a wide road. When you get on the skinnier roads, it is a bit scary.

This is the place we went last week (that Aaron wrote about - scroll down). It was a 35 km ride and is about 45ish minutes to the place where we park. It was cold though. Some advice - get some booties to cover you biking shoes! They help!!!

Aren't the tights hot? NOT!!! They crack me up every time.

I forgot to add that these were taken with the point and shoot. Who says those aren't worthwhile?
