Anyway, we continued our day in Piazza San Marco. We took lots of pictures of people in costumes. We had a great time doing this, and the costumes were awesome!
Here I am with one of the people dressed up. Pretty cool, huh?

The pictures that follow are just a bunch of pictures that I liked.

The sun and moon cracked me up!

This guy's costume was really cool. It has eight arms and each hand had something different in it. Unfortunately, he was in a hurry and not in the posing mood, so this is the best I could do. You get the idea!

I love the pavone (peacock) feathers.

I really like how Aaron framed this one. They weren't the most exciting costumes, but it really looks nice with all the costume filling the frame.

This women spent a lot of time posing for Aaron. We have quite a few nice photos of her, but this is the one I liked the most.

Aaron also took this series of photos. These two people were posing. The marble is part of Basilica di San Marco. I really think these turned out nicely.

They had a costume contest that we watched a little, and then we headed back to the train station (by foot of course) to ride back to Rome. We had a long ride back (4.5 hours), but it was a worthwhile journey. We had a great time!

Finally! Some color in Venice. Those costomes are pretty cool, and scary at the same time. The shot of the red costomes and the blue series are great. So does everyone dress up and head to the piazza and party? I wonder how they drink their wine with some of those masks.
The second last picture is cool. Something about the person on the left of the picture...
Not everyone dresses up, but quite a few do. A lot of them just walk around so they can have their pictures taken. You kind of feel like the paparazzi after a while. You're chasing people with a big camera...hahaha...I think only we were drinking :)
Yeah...that second to last one is great. Aaron is good ;)
Not that anybody will read this but drinking wine (or anything for that matter) with a mask on is TERRIBLY difficult!
