It was a sunny day, but it was a little cold. It was probably around 45 or 50 degrees. We were moving at a decent pace during the ride, and I enjoyed the ride (mostly because there was no giant hill to climb). I would definitely do this one again!
Aaron cycling on the road. This portion was great. The road was in pretty good condition, and there was virtually no traffic. This was where I stopped for a "break".
This is the main piazza (square) in Licenza. It is a little (and quiet) town! He isn't really noticeable, but Aaron is in the photo, too.
One of the buildings in Licenza with the mountians in the background. This area is really pretty.
Self potrait of me. This is the only photo of me from the day.
This is a photo of Licenza that we took on the way back to Tivoli. It was a small climb up there, but it wasn't bad :) Nothing like Aaron and Attila made me suffer through last year!
Here is the data off my GPS. I missed the first couple of kilometers because I forgot to hit the start button. No one ever said I was bright!

Ok...Lena has also become a comment machine to add to Nha's comments :) Thanks to you both! BTW - I responded to your last set in the comments of each message.

This really was a nice ride. The GPS shot doesn't do it much justice. Fire up Google Earth and take a look at it.
If we were in any kind of shape we'd be able to loop up past Licenza, towards Scandriglia and then back down the west side of the "mountains." In shape we are not though and I will admit, it was a bit chilly on Saturday.
Psst, did you really have negative speed at km24 Kelly?
Looks like a nice ride. Reminds me of riding through the ADK last autum. Brisk air, mountains, bike. What more could you ask?
BTW - Aaron looks like he's really having a blast on the bike. The GPS maps is really cool. When is Kelly going to get a cycling computer?
Well, it's the end of February already. We should start to see a warming trend soon. The local bike shops are already complaining about business picking up. Before you know it, I won't have to wear three layers to go outside. Yay.
Looks like Lena is going to get a Trek Pilot 2.1 although she may change her mind once she sees the color again. She tried the Specialized Dolce last night and it was so-so. We'll see...I'll be sure to send pictures.
Kelly doesn't need a cycling computer. She has the GPS and if we can find it, it has an HRM.
Of course, 2 weeks after I buy my cycling computer I discover the Garmin 405. Son of a $@##@.. (grumble growl moan complain)
