Well, our last day was terrible weather again. It was pouring rain the entire day. I never even went to the top of the hill because of the visibility. Aaron did and thought it was ok. We spent most of the day riding down a couple of red trails. The snow was very mushy, and it was a tough ski day. Matt was loving it though. Not long after lunch, I gave up and decided to head towards the apartment (it wasn't fun for me to struggle all day). I had to take a couple of j-bars back and found two small runs in good condition. I skied on those for probably another hour and had a great time. I was so happy to end on a positive note :)
These are my only two pictures from this day. I took them on my fun during the trip back. This one is looking back down the valley. Looks different in this crummy weather, right?
And a self portrain...you can see the rain on my helmet (and the j-bar behind me). Yuck!
That's the end of skiing in Austria! On Friday night, we went out to dinner to a Thai/Indian restaurant and had some good curry. Yes, we could have eaten Austrian, but we did that all week at lunch!
