Ski Vacation - Wednesday - Skiing - Day 6

Fourth Day of Skiing

Before we get into our day of skiing on Wednesday, I would like to answer some questions by our faithful readers. Well, actually, we only have one faithful reader...thanks Nha! No, we didn't take the DSLR. We already had too much weight (20 kg limit per person with our skis and boots taking up nearly all of that...we carried all of our clothes in our carry on bags). I wouldn't have wanted to carry it anyway. I didn't see any sunrises (way too tired), and because of the valley, the sunsets weren't all that spectacular. The weisswurst and beer wasn't really breakfast as much as an early lunch (around 11). In Bavaria they start with the weisswurst around 10.

Well, I don't have any photos from Wednesday because, well, the weather was horrible. At the bottom of the mountain, it was raining. At the top, it was snowing, which was good. Unfortunately, it was so foggy that we couldn't really see anything. I had a hard time turning because of the thickness of the snow. Oh well...I survived the day. We rode all over the Nassereinbahn, Galzigbahn and the upper lifts, and we found that the bottom was the best because at least we could see.

That night we went to watch the "Ski Spectacular". They had a show where they did some skiing and fireworks. It was a giant advertisement for their ski school, which was a little lame. It was pretty cold, and we stood there for a while before it started. At least we had some Gluwein (hot, spiced wine) to keep us warm!
